  • Records Management for DLA

    Northwind provided records management services for the Defense Logistics Agency in order to ensure audit readiness. As prime contractor, Northwind assembled a team of 45 workers to organize and process facility documentation to meet audit standards. Upon completion, the properly organized files were then uploaded back into the DLA's audit system.

  • Facility Upgrades for FEMA

    Northwind is currently providing electrical, lighting, and HVAC services for FEMA in Emmitsburg, MD. Tasks include the replacement of lighting fixtures, the installation of public address systems, replacement of boiler system, fire alarm system upgrades, motion sensor installation, removal of HID lighting and replacing with flourescent lighting, and HVAC system replacement.

  • Excavation for USACE

    Northwind is in the process of moving 22,000 cubic yards of soil. Tasks include importing 3,000 cubic yards of borrow soil from an onsite borrow area as well as constructing an 8,000 sq foot maintenance facility. This facility will be replacing a 50 year old maintenance facility currently still being used. It will be constructed across the street from the Lake Red Rock district office.

  • Mobile Home Park for FEMA

    Northwind worked with CH2M Hill on a Federal Emergency Management Agency project to install 58 emergency mobile homes in Sayre Pennsylvania for families displaced by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. Major tasks included installation of a gravity sewer system, water mains, electrical services and a storm water management system. In addition, mobile home pad sites and roadbeds were constructed. On-site personnel worked around the clock to ensure that the homes were ready for those in need.
